These include failing education youth unemployment exceeding 70% and economic recession. Corruption remains deeply entrenched. It stifles progress. It perpetuates hardship for ordinary citizens. The Covid-19 pandemic has only worsened these challenges. Many feel unheard. Violence is often seen as the only outlet for change.
