Provincial support helped this dream become a reality. The first years were a time of growth and development. Bishop Peyrou oversaw the initial years. Several temporary priests followed until Father Rafael Martinez became the permanent pastor. Father Aldo Moschetta then served as the vicar. The Catholic community blossomed. It grew stronger over those four decades.

In 2023 the church celebrated its 40th anniversary. The event was declared of provincial interest. The Vice Governor Monica Urquiza and legislator Liliana Martinez Allende attended. The church continues to plan renovations and upgrades to better serve its parishioners.
