Before this church was built, the community gathered in a small garage. In 1986, the first stone was laid for this new church, and in 1985, the Parrocchia was officially established.

Beato Federico Albert, a theologian and priest, was born in Turin in 1820. His dedication to the Church saw him become a chaplain to the Savoy Court and then a parish priest in Lanzo. Beato Clemente Marchisio, born in Racconigi in 1833, followed a similar path, becoming a priest in 1856. He served as a vice-parish priest in Cambiano and Vigone, before being named the parish priest of Rivalba Torinese, where he remained for the rest of his life. He was a tireless advocate for the young and the less fortunate, establishing a workshop for women to help provide opportunities for those in need.
