Sadly, the original Parliament House wasn’t as fortunate and burned down. However, the ironclad Parliamentary Library stood defiant, protecting its precious collection of books and documents. This resilience makes the Parliamentary Library a true symbol of enduring knowledge and a testament to the foresight of its builders.
