Founded by the Dominican sisters, St Michael’s beliefs are based on Veritas. Veritas means truth. The Parish of St Michael The Archangel Belfield has grown into a respected place of education in Belfield. The school motto, Faith, Learning, Love, underpins everything they do.

The school is on a quiet street. It is in the tranquil suburb of Belfield. There is an expansive grass playground. Children have room to run and play freely. A large area has play equipment for children. They can climb and develop their movement skills.

Years 3-6 have a unique opportunity. They can get involved in the Sydney Catholic Schools Amadeus project. Every student receives a musical instrument. It could be brass, woodwind, or string. Students get personalized tutoring in small groups. They also play in ensemble groups each week.
The Parish of St Michael The Archangel Belfield offers several weekly masses. Saturday Vigil Mass is at 5.30 pm. Sunday offers three services. There is a 9.30 am Sung English Mass. An 11.00 am Sung Latin Mass follows. Finally, there is a 6.00 pm English Low Mass.
Weekday masses are also available. Monday has a 10.00 am mass. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday masses are at 6.00 pm. Saturday offers masses at 10.00 am and 5.30 pm.
Reconciliation is available. Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6.30 pm to 7.00 pm. Saturdays offer reconciliation at 10.30 am. It continues until there are no more penitents.
Rosary is before all masses. Benediction and Adoration are on Thursdays. They run from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm. Baptisms and marriages are by appointment only.
The Parish of St Michael The Archangel Belfield offers a traditional Latin Mass every Sunday. The Missa Cantata occurs every Sunday and greater feast days. Occasionally, they have a Solemn High Mass.
