Amidst the bustling cityscape of Warsaw, the Parafia bł. Edmunda Bojanowskiego stands as a testament to faith and perseverance. The story of this parish began after 1989. Father Józef Maj, the pastor of St. Catherine’s Parish, initiated efforts to establish a new parish in the Wolica district. His vision included a new church. On October 24, 1999, Bishop Marian Duś consecrated the ground where the chapel would be built. Parafia bł. Edmunda Bojanowskiego wasn’t an easy endeavor. Administrative hurdles slowed the construction process. Work finally commenced in May 2001. On November 16, 2001, the new church was consecrated by Primate of Poland Cardinal Józef Glemp. The Parafia bł. Edmunda Bojanowskiego officially came into being on December 1, 2001. The church, located at Kokosowa 12, serves as the heart of the parish. The parish office can be reached at +48 602 786 198 or parafia@bojanowski.org. The office is open after both morning and evening Mass on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Confessions are held during every Mass. Extended confession hours are available until 10 PM on the first Thursday of the month. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place every Thursday after evening Mass until 7:30 PM. On the first Thursday of the month, all-night adoration follows the evening Mass. The Parafia bł. Edmunda Bojanowskiego continues to serve the community. It stands as a beacon of hope.
