The cornerstone of Our Lady of the Nativity in Lawson whispers tales of 1928. Cardinal Cerretti a Papal Delegate laid it. This wasn’t just any church. It was a testament to love. Richard Meagher a former Lord Mayor of Sydney gifted the land. His wife’s final wish a church built in this peaceful mountain setting.

Our Lady of the Nativity sits proudly in Lawson a town named after one of the first Europeans to cross the Blue Mountains. The church’s history is interwoven with the area’s.
