Office Park Nové Butovice emerged between 2001 and 2009. This ambitious project transformed the area around the Nové Butovice metro station. Studio acht envisioned this complex, creating a striking panorama of glass and steel. The design earned them first prize in the “Best of Realty” competition for new administrative centers in 2001. Construction Journal also recognized it as the “Best Office Project”. The initial phase of Office Park Nové Butovice included four distinct buildings. These range from the low-slung Building A to the towering 18-story Building D, home to Accenture and reaching 70 meters into the sky. Later phases saw the addition of Explora Business Center Jupiter, Metronom (completed in May 2015), and Aspira Business Centre (completed in November 2017). The office park now buzzes with activity. It houses numerous businesses and has become a key part of Prague’s vibrant commercial scene. Portland Trust further enhanced the complex after purchasing it in 2016. They renovated reception areas and common spaces. They also added canopies, landscaping, cycling facilities, electric car chargers, a car wash, a new access system, and LED lighting. Tenant services were expanded to include a larger restaurant, a gym, a kindergarten, a conference center, delivery boxes, groceries, laundry services, and a dedicated mobile app. The project was sold in 2022 and its occupancy rate was at an impressive 98%. Office Park Nové Butovice embodies Prague’s forward-thinking spirit. It’s a place where business thrives amidst sleek, modern design.
