Central Place Tower soars 31 stories high. It marks the Rosslyn skyline as Metropolitan DC area’s tallest tower. This jewel-box office tower provides a first-of-its-kind experience.
Here you will find a sky-high observation deck and lounge. It features panoramic vistas. These vistas include Washington DC and Northern Virginia. Central Place Tower enriches the Rosslyn neighborhood. It does so through its multi-use plaza. There is exciting new retail here. You will also find regular programming of community events.
International architecture firm Beyer Blinder Belle designed Central Place Tower. It is a powerful presence and iconic landmark. You will find it in the heart of Rosslyn. The tower’s two-story lobby uses bright white Colorado-cut Calacatta marble. Trophy-grade stainless steel satin accents are throughout. A floor-to-ceiling video wall displays custom digital art. It is an experience exclusive to Central Place Tower.
The observation deck spans 12000 square feet. It opened to the public in late summer 2018. The Urban Design Committee was involved in bringing the observation deck to Rosslyn. It was a community benefit provided by the developer.
From our sheltered indoor perch we can enjoy an unobstructed view. We can see the Mall the U.S. Capitol and the Pentagon. There’s also a good view up the hill toward Courthouse in Arlington.
Legends manages hospitality services for the observation deck’s indoor portion. They handle the indoor experiential piece at One World Trade Center in New York. The observation deck here in Rosslyn has a bar. It offers snacks and light fare. Visitors can take in the view while enjoying drinks and food. There is a seating area. We can also experience the outdoor cantilevered balcony. It is another great vantage point.
We can access the observation deck via a glass-enclosed elevator. It ascends from outside the building. It promises an interesting perspective. This is a great place for a drink a date or a tour with out-of-town visitors.
