New Life Wesleyan – The Dome wasn’t always the impressive structure you see today. Its story begins in 1966 with a small church in Waldorf Maryland. This humble beginning called Waldorf Wesleyan Church faced challenges. Yet through the dedication of a few families it thrived.
They renamed the church NEWLIFE. They purchased land. The members built the first building with their own hands. The Dome building opened in 1997. Imagine the joy the sweat the shared labor that went into creating this sacred space.
In 1999 Pastor Mike and Tina joined NEWLIFE. The church was struggling after a leadership change. But their arrival marked a turning point. Their first week attendance soared from 55 to over 100. NEWLIFE blossomed. It expanded into a network of six churches. Thousands attend weekly services in person and online. The church’s influence extends globally too with 19 churches in Guatemala.
