“The seeds of New Hope Fellowship were planted long ago” This isn’t just any church. This is New Hope Fellowship Downtown Church in Toronto. It’s a story woven into the fabric of this city. A story of faith resilience and growth.

In 1984 Light Presbyterian Church began. It was primarily a Korean immigrant church. The church grew. It grew significantly. In 1993 they even purchased a large warehouse. By 2004 New Hope Fellowship was born. It was the English Ministry of Light Presbyterian Church. Pastor Jason Noh and his family helped nurture a new generation.

In 2006 a new chapter started. New Hope Fellowship opened a campus downtown. They wanted to reach students and residents. This downtown campus is where we stand. It’s a place of worship. It’s also a place of community engagement. New Hope Fellowship partners with organizations like Toronto City Mission. This church isn’t just about Sunday services. They actively participate in the city’s life.
