NEO fosters collaboration and exploration across disciplines. Located on the Flemingsberg Campus, NEO is a 15,000 square meter facility. 5,000 square meters are dedicated to advanced laboratories. The building, designed by Tengbom Architects with interiors by LINK arkitektur, facilitates experimental research. NEO plays a vital role in KI’s mission. It advances knowledge in medicine and healthcare. The departments at NEO cover a wide range of medical fields. These include Medicine (Huddinge and Solna), Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society, and Clinical Science, Intervention and Technology. This multidisciplinary approach is key to NEO’s innovative environment. The Flemingsberg Campus itself is a bustling hub, with over 18,000 students. NEO’s presence enhances the collaborative spirit of the campus. It partners with institutions like KTH, Södertörn University, and the Swedish Red Cross University Hospital.
