“What if this playground could talk?”

Mount Druitt Park stands before us. It’s more than just swings and slides. It’s a testament to community spirit.

Old Mount Druitt Park got a brand new playground. Blacktown City Council appointed CRS to design it. The location is 52 Ropes Creek Rd, Mount Druitt NSW 2770.

The playground caters to children of all ages and abilities. Concrete edges define the space. Wetpour rubber and soft-fall ensure safety. Certified playground mulch adds a natural touch. Rubber paths branch off the concrete path. This makes it easier for prams and wheelchairs.

A wheelchair-accessible spinning carousel awaits. A low-level seesaw beckons. A swingset invites everyone to play. Less-mobile children are included.

Sandstone ballast sits in the center. Children can practice their balancing skills. A spring-rocker seesaw and inground carousel encourage interaction. The double-bay swingset offers a Nest seat. It also has a Strap seat and a Toddler seat.

The main play structure is a KliX FUSIONplay fort. It entertains up to 15 children. The bright blue unit combines multiple play possibilities. Slides offer thrills. Pretend-play sparks imagination. Climbing steps build strength. Walls and nets add adventure all within a small footprint.

Civil and landscape works shaped the park. Wetpour rubber and recycled soft-fall were installed. Certified playground mulch was used. Concrete edging and drainage were added. Sandstone blocks provide natural elements. Turf and trees complete the landscape.

Mount Druitt Park is more than just a playground. It is a place where children of all abilities can come together. They can play and make memories. Remember this inclusive spirit as you explore. It defines this special space in Mount Druitt.
