It is the ninth bridge crossing the Vistula River in Warsaw. The bridge carries the S2 expressway, which forms the southern bypass of Warsaw. It connects Warszawa Wschodnia junction in Wilanów with Wał Miedzeszyński junction in Wawer. Before the construction, it was called the Southern (Most Południowy). This is a bridge with a long history. The construction began in June 2017. For a long time, the bridge was simply a project on paper or, better, a concept in the minds of the planners. But just three years later, the Most Anny Jagiellonki was open to traffic. The Anna Jagiellon Bridge is the longest and most southern bridge crossing the Vistula River in Warsaw.
