“What makes Meadowridge so special?” I ask. Meadowridge is a residential suburb in Cape Town. It is known for its green spaces and relaxed atmosphere.

Meadowridge is the second garden city in Cape Town. Garden Cities began building houses here in 1954. It was officially opened on 23 March 1955. The development finished in 1969. Over 600 houses were built. Green paths connect the tree-lined streets.
