Master Toa Wong, who immigrated to Vancouver in 1960, dedicated his life to sharing the wonder of Cantonese opera. He generously donated his extensive collection of recordings and learning materials to the Asian Library at UBC and helped build and document the collection of Cantonese opera costumes at the Museum of Anthropology.
