This unique marina, nestled along the Main River at kilometer 261.3, offers a delightful blend of maritime charm and modern amenities. Marina WSC-Eibelstadt’s story began in 2007. The Wassersportclub Eibelstadt relocated here from Würzburg after spending over 40 years there. They embarked on an ambitious project to build a new harbor. The club envisioned a haven for boat enthusiasts and those seeking tranquility by the water. The result is a picturesque marina with around 40 berths for boats, plus 25 spaces for smaller boats on land. Marina WSC-Eibelstadt also caters to landlubbers. There are 90 designated spots for campervans and caravans. Beyond the practicalities, Marina WSC-Eibelstadt has cultivated a vibrant atmosphere. The heart of the marina is the public restaurant, housed within a charming club ship with a floating pontoon. This adds a unique touch to the marina’s ambiance. It offers a place to relax, enjoy a meal, and soak in the riverside views. Other amenities enhance the visitor experience. These include a slipway, parking for cars and trailers, restrooms, showers, electricity, water supply, waste disposal, and even a designated barbecue area and open spaces. For those who can’t be there in person, a webcam provides live views of the marina, allowing anyone to appreciate its beauty. The marina’s design reflects a commitment to nature. The water depth at the entrance is approximately 2.50 meters, while it’s about 1.00 meter near the clubhouse. The construction of the harbor itself aimed for a natural integration with the surrounding environment. This approach has created a unique harbor basin that adds to the marina’s appeal.
