L\u00f6tsj\u00f6n-Golf\u00e4ngarnas naturreservat was established in 2017. It has expanded to encompass 28 hectares. This includes L\u00f6tsj\u00f6n lake and its shoreline. It also includes the former Golf\u00e4ngarna golf course. This area now serves many purposes. It offers space for recreation and exercise. You can also find relaxation and nature experiences here. Stockholms golfklubb played here until 1926. In the 1940s Sundbyberg bought the L\u00f6tsj\u00f6n area from the state. The state stipulated that the area must not be built upon. The military needed L\u00f6tsj\u00f6n to water their horses.
