“Is it possible to capture a moment in time?” That’s the question that likely dances in the minds of artists showcased at Lonsdale Gallery. This contemporary art gallery is located in Toronto’s Forest Hill Village. Lonsdale Gallery has been a fixture here since its founding in 1995.

Lonsdale Gallery is a two-story space dedicated to exhibiting contemporary art. Chad Wolfond established the gallery. For over two decades, Lonsdale Gallery has promoted art from both Canada and abroad. The gallery is located at 410 Spadina Road.

Lonsdale Gallery embraces a variety of media. You’ll find paintings and sculptures. Photography and installations also find a home here. The gallery showcases both emerging and established artists. Want to visit Lonsdale Gallery? The gallery is a five-minute walk from St. Clair West Station. Take the Heath Street exit. Turn left and walk east to Spadina Road. Then turn left again and walk north. The gallery is next to the RBC. Street parking is available on Spadina Road and Lonsdale Road. Lonsdale Gallery is open Wednesday to Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm. You can also visit by appointment. Note that the gallery is closed on long weekends.

Lonsdale Gallery represents many artists. These include George Boileau, Patrice Charbonneau and Joan Kaufman. Also represented are Jim Reid, Katherine Tzu-Lan Mann and Peggy Taylor Reid. Pedie Wolfond is also among those represented. Works are available by Keith W. Bentley, Jamie Bradbury and Mike Hansen. Sven Hennze, Phil Irish and Lisa Johnson are also featured. Larry Kagan, William Mokrynski, Julie Oakes and Liz Pead round out the list.
