As you step into Long Bridge Park, you’re greeted by the Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center. It symbolizes the park’s commitment to accessibility and healthy living. Adjacent are three full-size, lighted synthetic fields. Known as Boeing Field #1, they proudly host Marymount University’s soccer and lacrosse teams. These fields buzz with energy, showcasing the park’s dynamic sporting spirit.
Take a walk along the nearly three-quarter-mile Esplanade. It offers panoramic views. See the Potomac River, the Roaches Run Waterfowl Sanctuary, and national monuments. Locals jog here. For younger visitors, Long Bridge Park features two distinct playgrounds. The southern playground includes an innovative interactive fog area. This unique feature ignites children’s imaginations. It also cools them down on hot days.
