Navette Blades-May has been with Montgomery County Public Libraries since 2005. She has worked at Long Branch and Marilyn Praisner libraries. She has over twenty years of library experience. Navette finds joy in the Long Branch Library’s diverse community. She helps them learn through outreach programs.

In 2021, the Long Branch Library underwent a refurbishment. The interior was completely renovated. New restrooms, teen and children’s areas, and a group study room were added. A laptop lane was also included. The renovation included new paint, carpeting, furniture, and shelving. The exterior also received updates with new roofing, railings, and a stucco finish. LED lighting and a new fire alarm were installed. New signage and ADA pedestrian improvements enhance accessibility.
