In 1831 a land grant established Londonderry. This unassuming suburb of Greater Western Sydney has a rich history. It’s located 60 kilometers northwest of the Sydney central business district. The area falls under the City of Penrith’s local government. Londonderry’s name comes from a 12-hectare land grant to Thomas Kendall.

Londonderry isn’t just a quiet residential area. It boasts a bustling commercial center. This village serves as a crucial hub for the local community. Residents benefit from shops cafes service stations a post office a community hall and a neighborhood center. Londonderry Public School is also conveniently located there.
