Pastor Gustav du Toit started it all. In 1982 he began with a small group. Three sisters a brother and his family. They met in a small country church. Their faith and vision grew. Soon the church needed a bigger space. They moved to a 500-seater tent. This was in a caravan park. They even helped the poor and needy there.

The congregation exploded. Growth led to more ambitious plans. They now have a 2000-seater auditorium. There’s a restaurant prayer rooms and facilities for children and youth. The church also has 50 single rooms 16 cottages and a 4-bedroom house. Across the road was a squatter camp. The government built houses there. The church ministered to the approximately 38000 people living there.
