But in 2020 it culminated in a new dam and a revitalized Litožnický rybník. The area is now part of the Říčanka Nature Park.
Today the Litožnický rybník covers approximately 11 hectares. It is Prague’s fourth-largest pond. The area is also a nature reserve protecting a rich ecosystem.
