Hiking to Ling Wui Shan involves some effort. The trail has mixed surfaces. Expect rock steps and dirt paths. The initial descent from Ling Wui Shan is steep. Be careful.

From Tung Chung, take bus 11. From Mui Wo, bus 1 will get you here. Get off at Sham Wat Road.

The hike takes you through several mountains. You will pass Kwun Yam Shan and Keung Shan. Each peak offers scenic views.

Once, from Ling Wui Shan, you could see quite far. North to Shenzhen. West to Macau. East to Hong Kong Island. South to Zhuhai islands. Smog can obscure the view today.

The trail from Keung Shan winds along hillsides. Reeds sway in the breeze during autumn. They look like silver chains.
