The Leuralla Public Gardens Amphitheatre is the only remaining publicly accessible cliff-top lawn area in Leura with valley views. Across the road from the Leuralla Public Gardens Amphitheatre stands Leuralla itself, once home to the NSW Toy and Railway Museum. Although the museum closed in 2022, the spirit of playfulness remains in the garden. Statues of cartoon characters like Popeye and Olive Oyl add a touch of whimsy to the scene, their gazes fixed on the same stunning view that captivated the amphitheatre’s creator a century ago.
