The Leonidas S. James Physical Education Complex first opened its doors in 1973. It has since been the home of the Athletic Department offices. The complex is named after a respected figure. He dedicated his life to education and sports.
Inside the Leonidas S. James Physical Education Complex, you’ll find state-of-the-art facilities. These facilities support a wide range of activities. There is a triple-court arena where volleyball and basketball teams compete. The A.C. Jordan Arena can seat 2,400 spectators. You’ll also find a modern fitness center for students and staff.
Originally, the complex had eight racquetball/handball courts. These have been transformed into locker rooms. Now, they serve the women’s volleyball, bowling, track and field, tennis, and softball teams.
