Ever thrown a curling stone? The Leaside Curling Club invites you to discover its frosty charm. Right here stands a testament to community spirit and the enduring love of this unique sport.

The Leaside Curling Club isn’t just a building. It’s a vibrant hub of activity in Toronto’s Leaside neighbourhood. Founded in 1963 it answered a community’s desire for a local curling space. The City of Toronto built the facility. It includes eight sheets of ice a lounge a pro shop a bar and change rooms.

For years the City’s Parks and Recreation Department managed the club. But in 2014 things changed. Members voted to lease the facility. They now handle operations and management themselves. This shows the club’s deep roots within the Leaside community.

Today the Leaside Curling Club is Ontario’s largest. It boasts over 1100 members. Leagues cater to all ages and skill levels. Even better John Epping a top-ranked curler on the World Curling Tour is the club pro. He offers individual and team instruction.

Beyond its competitive side Leaside Curling Club is welcoming to all. Club and ice rentals are available. Team building events and recreational curling are popular. No prior experience is needed. Instructors are available upon request. The Leaside Curling Club is more than just a place to curl. It’s a place where friendships are forged and memories are made on the ice. It’s a place that truly embodies the spirit of community and the joy of the game.
