Where the bustling streets of Warsaw gradually give way to the quieter lanes, you’ll find Łapigrosz. Łapigrosz is more than just a neighborhood. It’s a whisper of old Warsaw, a place where time seems to move a little slower. Nestled between the areas of Choszczówka and Białołęka Dworska, Łapigrosz holds onto its history. Imagine, until the mid-20th century, Łapigrosz was a village outside Warsaw. It belonged to the Jabłonna commune. In 1976, Łapigrosz, along with other neighboring villages, became part of Warsaw. Today, it’s a place where you might still hear the name whispered by older residents, a reminder of a time when life was simpler. Even though the name Łapigrosz isn’t used as much today, it’s a testament to the enduring spirit of this charming corner of Warsaw.
