Craving a blend of recreation and relaxation? Lake Ridge Park is calling your name. Located in the Lake Ridge community, this 74-acre park offers a variety of activities for everyone.

Lake Ridge Park sits directly on the Occoquan Reservoir. This provides unencumbered public access to the Occoquan Water Trail. Breathtaking views await you here.

The Lake Ridge Park Marina is open for three seasons. Boat rentals are available. You can rent canoes, kayaks, pedal boats and john boats. A universal access boat launch and dock access make it easy for everyone. If you prefer to bring your own boat, you can launch it from the boat ramp. Keep in mind that there is a 9.9 horsepower maximum for personal boats.

Fishing is a popular activity here. You can fish from your boat or from the bank. A fishing license is required. The marina sells bait. All boat rentals include personal floatation devices and safety equipment. You must be at least 16 to rent a boat. For pedal boat rentals, the minimum age is 14.

Land recreation is plentiful at Lake Ridge Park. There are playground areas for children. Horseshoe pits are available for some friendly competition. Nature trails wind through the park. Picnic tables, grills and pavilions are available. Pavilions can be rented for gatherings.

Golf enthusiasts can enjoy the 9-hole, par 3 golf course. It is a relaxing, wooded setting. This course is great for beginners and experienced golfers alike. Disc golf is another option. Eighteen baskets are scattered around the edges of the walking golf course.

Lake Ridge Park offers something for everyone. There are also junior golf programs. Kids Play Free and The First Tee of Prince William County are both great options.

Feeling hungry? Concessions are available onsite. They offer a variety of drinks, snacks, candy and ice cream.

Weekday pavilion rentals are offered at half-price. Lake Ridge Park is the perfect spot for birthday parties, team gatherings and barbecues. The park is also ideal for sports ceremonies, scouts and group parties.
