In 1951 LaSalle Catholic College Bankstown first opened its doors. It was a boys only school initially. It only catered for students from Years 5 to 9. The school grew. By 1999 it had become a Years 7 to 12 college. This was achieved through a merger with other schools. These were De La Salle College Benilde High School and Nazareth Senior Girls College.
