“A globetrotting dwarf in Warsaw? Now I’ve seen it all.” With a chuckle, you might just be right. This isn’t just any dwarf, this is Krasnal Życzliwek Podróżnik! He’s a traveler at heart, a tiny ambassador from the city of Wrocław known for its army of dwarf statues. Krasnal Życzliwek Podróżnik isn’t content staying put. He’s visited Łódź, Poznań, Gdańsk, Szczecin, and finally decided to grace Warsaw with his presence. You’ll find him on Bulwar Jana Karskiego, near the Vistula River, a fitting location for this adventurous little fellow. Why? Because Krasnal Życzliwek Podróżnik arrived in 2017 to celebrate the Year of the Vistula River, a year commemorating the 550th anniversary of the first free float on the Vistula. He must have enjoyed his time here, as he’s become a permanent fixture!
