Imagine young men answering a unique call. They dedicate themselves to spreading the Good News to the world. This is the essence of Kościół pw. Redemptoris Mater. It is home to the Archdiocesan Missionary Seminary Redemptoris Mater in Warsaw.
The Redemptoris Mater Seminary’s story began on June 10 1990. Józef Cardinal Glemp, Primate of Poland, established it. It was the fifth of its kind worldwide. Today Father Alojzij Oberstar from Slovenia is the seminary’s rector.
But what exactly is Redemptoris Mater? The seminary aims to spread the Gospel. It seeks to reach every corner of the earth. The seminary helps those who feel called to serve. These men become presbyters. They proclaim the Word and administer the sacraments.
The Redemptoris Mater relies on the generosity of benefactors. From its beginning, it has depended solely on donations. The seminary community prays for its supporters daily. Every Tuesday a special Mass is dedicated to them. They are also remembered during nightly adorations of the Blessed Sacrament.
Cardinal Kazimierz Nycz, Metropolitan Archbishop of Warsaw, expressed his gratitude. He thanked God for the seminary. He acknowledged its positive impact on the Church. He hoped that Mary, Star of the New Evangelization, would always guide it.
Consider supporting the Redemptoris Mater Seminary. Your contribution aids future missionaries. These missionaries will carry the message of faith. They will bring hope to distant lands. The seminary’s account number is 96 1030 1654 0000 0000 0873 8301.
The Kościół pw. Redemptoris Mater is more than a building. It is a center of faith. It is a place of preparation. Here, future priests are formed. They prepare to share God’s love across the world.
