The goal is to transform the church into something truly special. The King Emmanuel Baptist Church project is ambitious. It aims to create a full continuum of housing and services. This will be the first of its kind in DC. It’s based on a successful program in New York.

The new King Emmanuel Baptist Church project will create 18 units of transitional housing. These units are specifically designed for men and women re-entering society after incarceration.
