However a canal the so-called stadium collector connects it. This collector runs under Zieleniecka Avenue and the grounds of the National Stadium. Think about that for a moment. It was unveiled in 1988 in Skaryszewski Park by Margaret Thatcher herself. This somber memory serves as a poignant reminder of the war’s impact on this peaceful location.

This initiative commemorates the 25th anniversary of the Polish-German Treaty of Good Neighbourliness.
