Intraco, completed in 1975, was one of Warsaw’s first high-rise office buildings. It marked a significant step in the city’s modernization. Byggnadsproduktion AB, a Swedish company, designed and built this iconic structure. Intraco quickly became a recognizable landmark.
Notice Intraco’s impressive height. It reaches 138 meters including its antenna spire. The building has 39 stories offering roughly 18,500 square meters of rentable office space. The offices occupy all floors.
Originally, Intraco’s facade featured grey-blue ceramic tiles. In 1998, a complete refurbishment changed the color to a light green or cyan. This gave the building a more modern look.
Consider the building’s location. Intraco stands at Stawki Street. It is at the border of Śródmieście and Żoliborz districts. Dworzec Gdański metro and train station are close by making it very accessible.

Over the years, Intraco has seen modernization efforts. Lifts and facades have been replaced. In 2003, the main lobby was rearranged. An impressive central water cascade was added.
