True Deliverance Church of God, Headquarters, had humble beginnings. On November 12, 1967, six people met with the Late Apostle Albert Venson, Sr. This marked the start. Their first service was held at 1223 7th Street, NW, Washington, DC. In May 1970, they moved to a larger building at 2107 10th Street, NW.
At the True Deliverance Church of God people were saved. They were healed and delivered by God’s power. The ministry continued to grow at this location. Apostle Venson and the congregation would go into the streets. They picked up people for the service. They also fed the hungry.
