The Igreja Evang\u00e9lica Holiness do Brasil runs Acampamento Shalom. It is in Sales\u00f3polis. The Tiete River starts there. Greenery and native forest surround it. They have experience with camps for kids and teens. This has been going on for over 30 years. The camp has room for 200 people. They host kids’ camps and church retreats.
Acampamento Panorama started in 1975. Americans from the Oriental Missionary Society partnered with the Igreja Evang\u00e9lica Holiness do Brasil. The church bought it in 1982. Since then the Igreja Evang\u00e9lica Holiness do Brasil has invested in the camp. They wanted a comfortable and safe place. Summer Season is a ministry there. It entertains and evangelizes kids teens and young adults.
Instituto Amar helps the community. In 1986 the Igreja Evang\u00e9lica Holiness de Suzano saw kids playing near the church. The kids needed a safe place to play. The church decided to serve the community. Pastors Mitsuo and Shizue Namba worked with Dirce Harue Ueno. They created community programs like crochet painting and literacy classes. They also offered typing tai-ken-do and tutoring.
In 1994 church members saw parents leaving kids home alone. Many women had to work. So the church created a daycare. They wanted to prevent social exclusion. Members of the Igreja Evang\u00e9lica Holiness worked hard. They built and adapted the church space. They formed partnerships with the city. Instituto Amar Holiness was born.
Instituto Aba helps kids and teens from low-income families. They live in Itaquera. These kids are at risk of illiteracy child labor and crime. They may lack opportunities. The institute offers recreation social interaction and sports. They encourage learning and new life perspectives. The institute prioritizes prayer and Bible teaching.
The Igreja Holiness has a history in Brazil. Mission\u00e1rio Takeo Monobe came to Brazil in 1925. The church grew until 1990. You can read about it in a book. Nagafumi Yamazaki organized it.
