The Igreja Fonte da Vida’s story begins in Goiânia in 1994. Cèsar Augusto Machado de Sousa and Rúbia de Sousa founded it. This couple started by helping and teaching children living on the streets. Their work grew into something much bigger.
Today the Igreja Fonte da Vida has over 800 locations. These temples span Brazil, South America, North America, Europe, and Africa. The church also runs the Fonte de Comunicação media network. This includes Fonte TV, Fonte FM, and channel 584 on SKY TV. They also have a strong online presence.
