Gazing upon the Igreja Evangélica do Fundamento Biblico, one can’t help but feel a sense of history. This church, nestled in Sao Paulo, has a story waiting to be unveiled. The Igreja Evangélica do Fundamento Biblico was founded on a bedrock of faith. It was established on March 25, 2001. A small group of believers gathered at 3100 Avenida Gal Ataliba Leonel in Parada Inglesa. Their hearts yearned for a deeper connection with God. This marked the beginning of a remarkable journey for the Igreja Evangélica do Fundamento Biblico. The name “Igreja Evangélica do Fundamento Biblico” was unanimously chosen. Pastor Sergio A. Fernandes articulated the church’s vision. He emphasized a commitment to Pentecostal principles, ethical conduct, transparency, and community relevance. He also stressed the importance of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Igreja Evangélica do Fundamento Biblico has faced its share of challenges and triumphs. Some members left, while others joined, creating a dynamic community. The church acquired several properties. A building in Jardim Japão in Cotia. Land in São Vicente on the Baixada Santista, already boasting a large hall. A plot exceeding 500 square meters in Jardim Santa Julia (Crispim), now home to a beautiful temple. And notably, a 700-square-meter plot near Largo Treze de Maio in Santo Amaro, where they built their headquarters. The Igreja Evangélica do Fundamento Biblico also established a legally registered social work organization (OSFB). It houses a documented publishing house (FUNDABI) at its headquarters. These achievements are a testament to the dedication of its members, executive board, ministerial council, departments, pastors, leaders, and workers. Pastors Renato Roberto Moreira and Sergio Aparecido Fernandes were the founding figures of the Igreja Evangélica do Fundamento Biblico. The church acknowledges the contributions of Pastors Luiz Vieira, Duílio Coelho, Vicente de Campinário Diadema, José Laurentino, and Presbyter Marcilio. They also recognize the efforts of Vilma R. Venâncio Moreira, Sandra Benária de Lima, Maria Aparecida de Medeiros, and Marlene Dutra Macedo.
