Igreja Efraim believes in the Gospel’s power. This power impacts individuals and generations. Its purpose is to build strong families. These families are built on Christian values. Igreja Efraim equips each member. They live a full life with purpose. The vision is a haven of faith. It is a place of hope and fellowship. It strengthens family and individual bonds. This happens through Jesus Christ’s teachings.
In 2016, a group wanted a different kind of church. So, they started Comunidade Evang\u00e9lica Efraim. It began with 15 members. They met in a home. Cristiano Souza and Mahara Souza led them. They wanted to change churches in Rio de Janeiro. They wanted a solid history based on Jesus. In January 2017, they rented a 400 square meter space. It was in Duque de Caxias. Many thought it was a big dream. But they believed in God’s dream for His people.
The leaders wanted to reach more people. They wanted to share Jesus’ love boldly. They planned small groups in homes called Cells. They valued everyone’s story. In 2017, they started the Encontro com Deus. They also began a leadership school. This trained members to lead Cells. By May 2018, they had 80 members. Six pioneer groups started the Cell system.
Igreja Efraim aims to glorify God. It promotes discipleship. It encourages spiritual growth. Their motto is: Every believer a minister. Every house a church.
People share positive experiences. Jaqueline Ferrari feels God speaks to her. This happens during worship and sermons. Nathalya feels welcome and guided. She experiences God. Daniel Lourenço calls Efraim a family.
Igreja Efraim offers various services. There is a young adults group. It meets on Tuesdays at 7 PM. There is an awakening service on Fridays at 8 PM. A consecration takes place on Sundays at 7 AM. Disciple school follows at 8 AM. Worship and adoration occur on Sundays at 7 PM.
