Igreja Apostólica Nova Vida

Founded on April 17 2013 in Embu-Guaçu-SP the Igreja Apostólica Nova Vida began in the founders’ home. Pastor José Aprigio Araújo and Pastor Damaris Fernandes Araújo along with their daughter Heloísa Fernandes held the first meetings there. More people joined with each gathering. Soon the space became too small. They moved to larger makeshift locations. Friends and brothers in faith provided space until a suitable location opened on the main avenue of the Cipó-Guaçu neighborhood. The Igreja Apostólica Nova Vida’s purpose is to glorify God through Jesus Christ. It aims to rescue lives. It serves as a channel for God’s Holy Spirit through salvation healing liberation and restoration. These practices follow the example of the apostles sharing bread and fellowship. The church experienced expansion. A congregation in São Bernardo do Campo was established under Pastor Alberto Santos. God prepared and equipped chosen individuals to help build the church’s walls there. The ministry’s promise is far from over. We believe God has greater things in store. As for us we only have to say “Here we are fulfill your will in us”. The Igreja Apostólica Nova Vida’s vision is to be a leading church in its city. It is filled with the Holy Spirit bold in proclaiming the Word motivated by God’s love and moved by compassion for souls. Its mission is to believe that believers can receive spiritual gifts. These gifts must be used to expand and strengthen the body of Christ in accordance with God’s Word.
