Opened in 1963, Ichilov Hospital began as one building. Now, it’s a sprawling medical center. The Ichilov Hospital is formally known as Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center. It stands as a beacon of health and innovation in Tel Aviv.

It protects against conventional, chemical, and biological attacks. Sammy Ofer donated $45 million to this project. Arad Sharon, Arieh Sharon’s grandson, designed it.

The world’s largest emergency room opened at Ichilov Hospital in 2022. This 8,000 square meter facility uses self-triage and robots. The robots guide people.
