Holroyd Volunteer Park opens its gates at sunrise and closes at sunset. The park remains closed on Christmas Day. Entry to Holroyd Volunteer Park is free. This makes it accessible to everyone.

Once inside Holroyd Volunteer Park, discover a range of features for all ages. There are three sheltered areas, perfect for picnics. Each area has tables and benches. Electric BBQs are available for those wanting to cook outdoors.

For the active, Holroyd Volunteer Park boasts a bicycle training track. Walking trails wind through the park. Large grassed areas offer space to run and play.

Children will love the adventure playground. It includes slides, a chain bridge and climbing equipment. An accessible playground caters to children with special needs. Swings and climbing equipment are available here as well.

The rotunda at Holroyd Volunteer Park hosts many wedding ceremonies. The park is known as Western Sydney’s best kept secret.

Parking is available off Walpole Street. Pedestrian access is available from Pitt Street. The Holroyd Gardens Rotunda is accessible via the Walpole Street car park. A short stroll along the crushed stone driveway leads to the rotunda.

Holroyd Volunteer Park operates at varying times throughout the year. On weekdays, it is open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. On weekends, it opens from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. During daylight saving time, the park extends its hours. It opens from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm on weekdays. Weekends see it open from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. Wedding ceremonies are pre-booked in 2 hour slots.

Beyond recreation, Holroyd Volunteer Park holds historical significance. The park features a historic brickworks and a duck pond.

Remember the Holroyd Centre, located at 11-17 Miller Street, Merrylands. It is available for wedding receptions and corporate events. Access to the Holroyd Centre is via Miller Street. The general office operates from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The venue opens for events on an individual basis. Viewing appointments outside these hours can be arranged.
