Thus, the Hoher Bug grew, artificially elevated to its current height of 308 meters. A winding path, initially used by the dumping trucks, now leads visitors to a breathtaking vista overlooking southern Wuerzburg. And the water seeping from within this man-made mountain? It contributes to the Alandsbach stream, an unexpected consequence of the university’s growth.
