Built in 1957 the Haus des Meeres isn’t just an aquarium. It’s a vibrant zoo. It boasts Austria’s largest aquarium. A stunning 300000 liter tank. Sharks piranhas and a sea turtle call it home. Colorful fish and vibrant corals fill the tanks. The tropical house is amazing. Free-flying birds and playful monkeys swing through the foliage. The Atlantic tunnel is another highlight.
