Harvest City Church sprang from the “Jesus People” movement of the 1960s and 70s. Because of their focus on spiritual gifts, they became known as a “Charismatic” church. “Charisma” means “gifts of divine grace”.
Harvest City Church is connected to LifeLinks International Fellowship. This fellowship allows churches to be self-governing. They share a sense of connection. They partner to plant churches and serve on missions.
Harvest City Church follows a model of plural leadership. A team of Elders governs the church. The lead pastor is “first among equals.” Elders work with a Board of Directors. These directors have the title “deacon”.
Since 2007, Harvest City Church has channeled millions into outreach. This supports their charitable purpose. They aim to reach all people with the gospel.
