Is this where time stood still? Right here, before us, the Gutshaus Klein Kedingshagen stands as if plucked from a bygone era. Kedingshagen itself has a long history, first documented way back in 1318. The village was divided into Groß Kedingshagen and Klein Kedingshagen in the 15th century. This magnificent Gutshaus we see before us, however, did not rise until much later. It was built around 1775, a beacon of elegant architecture nestled in the countryside. For centuries, this grand estate witnessed the changing tides of history. It saw Heinrich Bartels take ownership in 1862, followed by Karl Friedrich Stuth in 1928. Finally, the era of the manor’s use as a private residence ended with Otto Müller in 1945. After a period of relative quiet, the Gutshaus Klein Kedingshagen once again found its way into private hands in 2015. Take a moment to imagine the stories these walls could tell – tales of lavish gatherings and quiet moments, the laughter of children echoing through the halls, and the whispers of history etched into its very foundation.
