This impressive entrance is part of a doline a natural sinkhole. The cave’s discovery revealed a stunning interior. Abundant concretions adorn almost every surface.
Imagine descending into the depths. You’ll find a network of passages stretching over 107 meters. The cave plunges 47.5 meters down. The lowest point sits at 270.5 meters above sea level. The exploration wasn’t easy. Early explorers had to widen narrow passages and clear away debris. They found unstable rocks and sharp edges making the descent treacherous.

This second helmet was unearthed at a depth of around eighty meters. Its uniqueness lies in the absence of palmette designs commonly found on similar artifacts. Both helmets bear signs of damage suggesting violence or ritualistic deactivation. The cave also yielded an iron axe and abundant remains of ancient fauna.
