Feel the rumble beneath your feet. This is the Ghoster Coaster at Canada’s Wonderland. It is more than just a ride. It’s a journey back in time.

The Ghoster Coaster first opened on May 23 1981. It was one of only four roller coasters here when the park opened. Imagine the excitement of that first day. Dragon Fyre, Thunder Run, Wilde Beast, and Mighty Canadian Minebuster joined it. They were all ready to thrill.

Originally, the Ghoster Coaster was known as Scooby’s Gasping Ghoster Coaster. That name changed in 2010. It became simply Ghoster Coaster. The change came as part of the transition to Planet Snoopy.

Curtis D. Summers designed the Ghoster Coaster. Taft Broadcasting Company built it. The Ghoster Coaster is a junior wooden roller coaster. It is a smaller version of the Wilde Beast. It is perfect for families.

The Ghoster Coaster has a height of 41 feet. Its drop is 39 feet. The ride is 1356 feet long. It reaches a speed of 35 mph. The entire ride lasts about one minute and 20 seconds.

A single train with five cars carries riders. Each car holds twenty people. They sit two across in two rows.

The Ghoster Coaster was once an ACE Coaster Classic. That status was later removed. This was due to changes made to the coaster.

Kids need to be 40 inches tall to ride with an adult. To ride alone, they must be 46 inches tall.

As you ride the Ghoster Coaster, feel the wind in your hair. Experience the exhilarating drops. Enjoy the snappy banked curves. These elements make it a thrilling ride for all ages.

Look for the FunPix location after your ride on the Ghoster Coaster. Show your FunPix card. Collect your on-ride photo. It is a great way to remember your experience.

The Ghoster Coaster is one of three wooden roller coasters in the park. The others are the Wilde Beast and the Mighty Canadian Minebuster. Each offers a unique wooden coaster experience.

Remember the Ghoster Coaster. It is more than just a ride. It is a piece of Canada’s Wonderland history. It is a classic. It continues to bring joy to families today.
